Park the car at the entrance of your garage or 20' from the back wall.
With the ignition off, leave the light switch on "Auto" facing the dark garage. Now, turn on the ignition. The lights should bounce up and down before they settle in the correct position.
If they don't move, then your dealer is snowing you to save MB some big warranty dollars.

Yes. The black plastic "nut" on the top of the headlight assembly in the middle area. It is a 13mm "nut". If I remember correctly, clockwise brings the aim up and counter-clockwise aims down.
