nice runs! if you get any lower 60ft's i may have to look into let's tune as they may have finally broken through the ecu's tq limiter. would you mind doing some data logging so we can see the timing tables?

LET beta-trim: Pulley, Heat Exchanger, Custom tune, TB.

1st run: 11.99 @ ~118 coming out soft on a 2.0 60'

2nd run: 11.75 @ ~119 with a 1.8 60'

3rd run: 11.59 @ 118.7 with a 1.673 60'

I went 3-for-3 against trailered cars. That felt awesome.
Tires? Brake torque? etc?

What would you like to see? I have a bunch of stuff, let me know.

I saw over 525 RWTQ on a Dyno Dynamics machine with this setup; I think the limiter is old news.

I know the flip-switch stuff is imminent. Testing is ongoing, that's all I can share.

LET is based out of Houston, but Jerry is in Chicago - that's how we met.

The custom dyno tune stuff is the price of the tune, plus dyno time, plus $125/hr.
According to Jerry, the introductory pricing will be in effect until the end of July. ($800)

Keep me posted on the flip switch, I definitely want it.

So $800 for dyno tune? Didn't really understand that part. May have to drive out to Chi town. Can you post your dyno sheet with afrs please?

Just unreal!! What an amazing series. That has got to be one of, if not the fastest (and quickest), all motor "non header" runs yet.

You deserve all the accolades my friend. Please tell me you got video......

No vid, sorry. It was a last-minute thing; that's why I had 3/4 tank.

I glanced briefly at Dragtimes....could this be the quickest non-DR pass on record? I didn't see anyone with lower ETs on the list without some type of slick, DR, or R-compound tire.

I know the DA was close to 2000' all night...there is a bit more in this car in its present state of tune, IMO.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. Launch technique was per the sticky, rolling into the throttle, ESP-off.
i bought the let HE but i had to drill bolt holes in the HE
was a pain in the ***

other then that seems to work. stupid texas heat

Crikey!!! How the heck did you manage that? No wonder the tech struggled.

Kudos to him for getting it on tho... did not think it was at all possible with bumper on.

Where did you have the work done, CPT? Or did you do it yourself? Seems like having a stock E55 is getting old hat.

Al @ CPT did all of the work, including resonator removal. The car now sounds like it should have, IMO.

Are you starting to mod, Steve?

That they are.

Getting dyno-tuned on the Dyno Dynamics is worth the trip.

Wayne,

Those are great ET's and your 60' is awesome. WIth some headers and you be under 11.50......

Congrats man. The LET tune is amazing. Seeing some really nice results.

Keep it ups but don't get under 11.470 DEAL??

ChicagoX, very impressive times

I'd like to see how well your car would do in zero DA or maybe even -1000 ft

LET, great work on that tune

I can't say enough good things about my experience so far with the LET tune. I have had it for about a month (and 2000 miles) and it is amazing. Have run my car at 4 different tracks in different conditions with shockingly consistent results. Put that tune in conjunction with Wayne's driving skills (and the hardware, of course), and it is time to UNLEASH the BEAST

Can't wait to see the vids of the M6 and the 55k....

Man, it's like the car dropped 1000 pounds. It's ridiculous at times how this thing accelerates.

J 200I- Thanks for the invite, maybe next week?

MB_Forever, rflow306, higginsbeach, BTPower, E55JAY - thanks for the props.
