AC light flashing

When the AC needs recharging or has a leak, the dash flashes "ac off" when you try to turn the ac on. I took my 03 to a non stealer shop and they pressure tested the ac and said it's fine but can't charge the system unless they can get the compressor to turn on. Anybody know how to reset this ?code or is there a cabin button to push?

I have the same problem. I had to change my condensor and now all i get is the a/c button flashing like yours. I haven't had a chance to take the car to my A/C guy yet.

Hope someone can help out on this one...

I had same problem but my car has a CPO warranty so it was covered. I think they replaced something and recharged the A/C

The compressor will not start untill the system has some pressure in it. This is pretty standard in the automotive world, your tech should have known this.
