I got them from ebay:

What have you done to your exhaust? I want to remove my resonator and replace it with 2.75 inch straight pipes... Did you remove the secondary cats as well? Need more growl.

No to removal of secondary cats. Just remove resonator and install straights. I'm going to leave secondary cats alone. I will install Renntech mufflers this summer.

Got it. I'm doing it next week... Did the shop use 3.0 inch pipes or 2.75?

I don't remember. Sorry. Just do it and drive around for a few weeks to see if it gives you enough growl. If it doesn't, you should consider the Renntech mufflers. I think boardmember Lexaltezza is having it installed this weekend on his CLS63 and he said he will post soundclips sometime next week. He normally posts on CLS AMG board. Just look out for it.

forgive my ignorance here, but what do the charcoal filters (for the climate control im assuming) have to do with intake restriction/noise?

Different filters... We are talking about the filters in both intakes. So basically there are two filters in each intake bay, Air Filter and the Charcoal Filter, which is there just for emmission purposes and somewhat limits the air flow into the engine.
