Just heard from my buddy that drag races are held at the old airstrip. Wondering if anyone has ever attempted to join in the fun or has been invited? Not sure if it a private club organizing the fun or what but wanted to post and ask.

I've never been to Sac, but I was filmed in a commercial with my Ferrari on the airstrip. After doing multiple runs on the strip (which was not cleaned), my car had lots of rock chips on the rockers, and lots of dust and salt in the engine bay and all over the car. Thought you should know.

I haven't been to Sac since that day. How does your car run since you added the mods?

Yeah you and me both, car runs strong man what a difference just by adding a pulley & ECU. Next will be headers and maybe TB.

If I go back I want to run with my stock wheels and see if it makes a difference. If I can't get into the 11's with the stock wheels then I will add some DR's to get there.

I live in Alameda and will do some digging. Only thing I've actually seen is coned courses for car clubs. BMW rented the airstrip about a year ago for VIPs... If we can figure out how to get on, I'm in.
