My dealer can not reproduce the power loss results or see any bad codes... blah, blah, blah..... The car runs like a F1 car on their lot
Anyway how much did you pay at the dealer for the IC pump replacement?
Anyone pay out of pocket for the clutch pack replacement.... bet that one is pricey!
I have a way to reproduce the clutchpack EVERY time. Symptom is that that the clutch snaps later in the powerband IF you slowly accelerate. It will get to about 2K RPM and just buck. The reason is that it is now worn out and thus harder to engage. If you give it hard gas, the centrifugal force will throw the clutch and you get insta grab. BUT, in slow acceleration it will buck. Also, as my bro the master tech taught me. Take a look at the metal of the SC clutch. It will have physical evidence of clutch slip (heat). The metal will literally change colors (as an exhaust pipe) to a nearly anodized purple. That is a case closed.
Do you not have a contact at a dealer? Whre are you? Go to a different one.
paid out of pocket. cannot remember the cost. anyhow the new clutch pack is so smooth you will not be able to detect the engagement. do it. ic pump is newer design also.
