Wheel Hub/Bearig
Quick questions for you gearheads. This is pertaining a 2004.5 Volvo S40 my niece has.
Her rear alignment is completely shot, the toe is off as is the camber. The guy at firestone mentioned that the wheel hub assembly and/or whel bearings might be bad and the wheel hub has too much play in it. Can this really cause the alignment to be off that much. The right rear tire is at -2.3, an the left rear tire is at -1.85 for camber. The toe is something like .22 or what have you on both.
Obviously this needs to be fixed ASAP.

I dunno if you would screw up the alignement that much with a loose hub without having major wiggle on the road. I would check the puchings and any play. Also, get all of the alignment specs so you can see how the car is sitting. I would guess arms have been moved or bent.
