I just thought of something, guys! How would yall like to see a C63 there? One of my good friends in Baltimore purchased the very first one delivered in Maryland. He's not much of a drag racer but I think he'll probably just toss me the keys if I ask for them. If no other C63 makes the list I'll give him a call. But if I bring it, you won't be able to witness the badassness of my E500.

Is this a Mercedes only event or can I bring a Mercedes and a Mopar? I would like to take advantage of the track conditions, and making the 6 hr trek north would be better to bring 2 cars but not the same make. Can someone answer this? thanks

Your right, just did mapquest, 573 miles, so more like 8-9 hours, not 12 hours. It's a team effort, one speeder = 3 tickets.........You take the lead down OK...
There has not been one decent Wed. or Fri to race since friggin May. Just waiting for at least a 50-55 degree cool evening to go back to NED. I will keep you posted when I go.

Hey, I thought MIR was the fastest track in the land? last night I ran a 11.824 @ 118.29mph on Corsas at Route 66 Raceway elevation 632ft. Slips to be posted shortly.Midwest boys are gonna represent!

Given the same conditions, you would have ran faster at MIR which has a lower elevation. Congrats on getting in the 11's but you're gonna have to do better than that to take the CLK crown I think you beat the best 63 ET though. Even quicker than ASR's sprayed car

CF drive shaft is being ordered today and 17" Forge Lines with Mickey Thompsons E/T Streets have been shipped. 50 Shot of Nitrous in the very near future as well. If MIR is as fast as you say, a flat 11 is attainable with my car on slicks, CF shaft and NOS.

This was not a record MPH pass, I ran a 119.2 a month ago, but with a slower E/T.

Cool! MIR wont do magic but it will definitely help you get some great DA to run in. With 500whp, sticky tires, and 50 shot of nitrous you should be in the 10's. How much does your car weigh? My car only makes a little over 400whp without the nitrous, at leats thats what the dyno says

This is a bit off topic, but the guy doing my tech inspection last night pointed out a Daimler Chrysler sticker under my hood...I thought that relationship was long over. He also mentioned that I can compete my car in Mopar events, is that true? God, could you imaging the look on all those die-hard Mopar guys faces when they got beat by an M-B? I saw it last night when I beat a NOS powered IROC with drag slicks, the poor guys friends would not let it go.

awww man thats nothing, pull up the cup holder on a Lambo Gallardo and see Volkwagen everywhere, even the climate control systems are out of the old S4...Then you got the Bugatti Veyron which is basically all Volkswagen technology...2 W8's with twin turbos each for a cool mil plus, there is nothing in your car "Chrysler", now Chrysler on the other had a bunch of mercedes parts....

Wait a minute... can you retrofit an MCT tranny to our cars without replacing the whole thing? What, does it just replace the torque converter? what does that cost?
