The state I live in only uses Laser to get speed readings. Radar was banned for whatever reason years ago. I hear a lot of great things about the V1 but i only need a laser detector. I understand that once the laser goes off directly on your car, its just a notification that you're going to get a ticket. The detector will only absorb the laser fragments from vehicles in front of you if there are any. That brings me to part 2, a laser jammer to buy me some time to reduce speed.

What's the best way to protect against laser speed traps? What's the best laser detector? What's the best laser jammer?

laser blinder gets my vote, expensive but it works. Many states have laws that prohibit laser jamming.
