sounds like some nitrous is going in soon..... not easy getting into the 10's, even with all the goodies and power.... I'll still say you'll get beat by a 4 door though....
look forward to seeing the results.... ![drive](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/driving.gif)

Go ahead, bring a wagon, bring anything you want, I'm not loosing to anything with four doors...except maybe a heavily modded S65 tt that can run sub 10:80's. I've got a few other tricks up my sleeve that I'm not going to being making puplic until the event. I'm not driving 15 hours for the hell of it, I'm bringing the title back to Chicago with me!
As for the weather, no excuses here, I have the current e/t title for 63's and set that record in Chicago at 82-85% humidity at nearly 650ft above sea level. The way I look at it, traveling those 15 hours is like free horsepower and according to everyones calculations is going to be worth 2-3 tenths.
All the smack talking is what will make this event great. Imagine how stupid I will look if I go out there and run slower than I do in Chicago...that's the kind of luck I have...and you guys will never let me live it down. I have started a SMACK list of everyone who is talking smack (pretty much everyone) I have a few grudge match I want to see happen, this is going to be great.

Jim,
I hope I'm on your list...
All this trash talk and smack down, it's all in good spirit. It will make for a great day for sure. Just wish we didn't have to wait over 100 days for the event. I will not be on NOS. I am staying all motor so if you do NOS, I won't be much of a race for you. Maybe the 600's and 65's will give you a race if your on the NOS.......
Enjoy the rest of the weekend. It's finally SUMMA here at Higgins Beach. Started a two week vacation TODAY............

One more thing, if I end up getting beat at the strip by 1 or 2 cars, so be it, I know I have the fastest ALL AROUND car that will be in attendance, including the Z06's. I will run an 11.5 or quicker on the Corsas and then drive the car to a road race course, without a single adjustment other than air pressure and hands down walk away from ANY road going car you can throw my way and then after that we can roll to a night club where we can see whose car the vallet guys park front and center
![Big Grin](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Hows that for trash talk??

ehhh pretty good attempt
keep spending, your gonna need lots of HP for this event
thats just as much a "street tire" as a drag radial
now thats a fair statement, since some of the fastest cars at this event wont be AMG's ![Wink](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)
just my little attempt at some smack talk

Well if that is the case, I will leave the 63 at home and bring the Viper. With upgraded interior, will put the top down and for sure will land the spot in front of the door!!!

I guess you guys don't catch sarcasm when it's tossed out there. As for the Viper...They were cool back in 95 now days every gold chain wearing guy that can get financed for $38,000 drives one. Vipers hardly get a second look around here. If you want to go back to my statement that was meant as SARCASM (A JOKE), around here Vipers don't stand a chance for a "leave it up front" spot in vallet, not sure what clubs you frequent, but if the best machinery parked up front are Vipers you must be hangin at the wrong clubs...do IROC Z's and 5.0 Mustangs get the same treatment at those places?
....and the next thing you are going to tell me is that your Viper can turn faster laps than my car too, right?![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)

hehe, you're driving a souped up CLK.... hardly anyone even knows what BS is, my car would get way more looks than yours anywhere except at a Mercedes meet up....
and given equal drivers, if you think any Viper Coupe/ACR couldn't hang with you on the track, you're really clueless....
back to the real point, you won't run 10.80's in your CLK....![devil](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/devil.gif)

So now you own an ACR? I'm not clueless, you are, that is a friggin street legal race car and only a handful were produced. The pic you posted is a run-of-the-mill, dime a dozen GTS....I owned one and it was the biggest piece of sh_t, when body panels were not literally falling off and coming un-glued it was fun. Yes, Dodge actually glues on some of the body parts....JUNK!

I agree about the Viper's build quality, things do tend to fall apart, although you still can't beat my dime a dozen GTS, or my E55 at the strip with the your dyno queen CLK.....
and who cares how many were produced, doesn't mean it's quickest and best thing out there..... I think I saw some rings times and the Viper was quicker than the CLK BS....
I hope that avatar is photoshopped, you really didn't do that to your "race" car?

7:59 Dodge Viper 2005-11 Motor Trend
done?
done?
Not too sure what Ring records you are looking at but the official list I am viewing has a stock Black Series at 8:01.79 and the Viper at an 8:10.47, and that is for the new Viper, I have to go to the bottom of page two to see your slow GTS truning a 8:36 lap....real impressive

Guys comon now... Fiske I have thought for many many months your 55 the perfect match for a modded 63.
I hope you are bringing her.
You gotta come to MIR and get Jordan to come with the ASR cars and the NOS equipped CLS.
South Florida definately needs to be in the mix.
Relax Jim,
focus
You have a secretly tuned CL 600 to mop up.

It is a good match up, I think I beat the CLS 63 nitrous car last time out, although I don't think it was completely tuned yet though... I'm on the fence right now, more mods for the E55 or picking up a CL65 and heading over to RENNtech.... If the right CL65 comes along, I'm in....

Well,it looks like I will have the only 100% bone-stock AMG at this event.I'm perfectly fine with being the slowest there,at least I know I will be able to drive home without breaking anything.
The babyseat will be in the back, the stock Conti's will be mounted&my Ghetto Racing 63 will be ready to run with whatever, win or lose.
Jay,would it be possible for me to bring my bikes down&run them? They're fully AMA/Pro-Star legal and will pass safety tech no problems...I'd like to make a few 8sec passes to get my speed-addiction satisfied
