There is a garage that I used to be familiar with when servicing my father's '87 benz, Arthur's Mercedes Service in Carrollton. I have not used them recently, but they were always reputable & honest. If Arthur will still do a PPI, this may be your only option; I called one of the local MB dealers & they let me know that they do not perform ppi's.
