2006 E55 Black on Black

0 to 60 and 1/4 mile - Gtech

My Renntech stage one 2006 E55 ran a 0 to 60 mph in 4.02 seconds and a 12.26 at 119.4mph 1/4 mile according to my Gtech. I'm at 3500 feet here in Calgary. Although the weather is cooler (74 degrees), the altitude must hurt the car's power output. Do you agree? The 0 to 60 time seems pretty damn fast.

The difference in mph with the gtech and the drag strip is the drag strip measures speed during the last 60' where the gtech measures it at the end of the quarter mile. That why the gtech will give you a higher mph. Some of the better accelerameters with gps are very accurate. I've used several and found the basic Gtech to be about a tenth off on the ET, most likely due to roll out and about 2 mph fast on the speed. My racelogic drift box is dead on.

When I have ran my E at the track with the GMeter the times are within a few hundredths of a second.

Trap speed is a bit high. Were you going downhill (a slight decline makes a difference)?

Temp is not everything. It's the DA.

Just ran Calgary Alberta. 73f with dew point 46f and pressure of 29.77 gave you a DA of over 5000ft. 5511 to be exact. OUCH!

Welcome to my world. My average DA runs about 6000ft.

Car sure runs like crud doesn't it? (meaning slower)

I would say that is pretty good for 5000ft.

No worries. Nothing wrong with the car.

OH I just checked my DA. Check this........7921FT. I give up. Lucky if I can beat a Smart car with that.
