Thinking of making the upgrade to AMG
So I'm coming up on my lease for my E350 and decided that I'm ready to step up to the "big boy" league...
But not sure if I should purchase or lease due to the recent Depreciation hits the AMG cars had...
Just wanted to get some input from our fellow AMG owners...
Options:
2007 E63 Premium/Parktronic, 27k miles, CPO - $65000
OR
Lease a 2008 E63 (Thinking it'll run me around 1200-1300/mo for 27mo lease with about 3-4k down)
OR
Buy a 2005 - 2006 E55 (40-50k-ish? Think this is a good range?)
Thanks in advance folks...and please don't flame.

Obviously, there are benefits to all the options, but buying a CPO '06 could be a pretty good deal. Mine is coming off lease with 19k miles. It would have 21 months of warranty left and my buyout was 61k, but Mercedes was willing to sell it to me for 52k - pretty good bang for the buck. My guess is that's not the best deal out there, so you might be able to spend that same amount for a CPO car and have 33-36 months and ~80,000 miles of warranty.
You're still getting a car with ~470hp and a shload of tourque.
I'm sure people can give you the list of improvements from '07 and '08. If you're not going to put a lot of miles, I bet there is some good deals to be had for leasing an '08 right now and you'll get the latest goodies. BTW, I have a good contact who finds the best deals nationwide, if you are interested, feel free to PM.
I'd probably put buying an '07 as last on the list.
