Rough Idle E55

Out of the blue the car started to idle rough today..like it was hunting. Only when I'm idling in neutral or in park. You can feel the car jerking when my foot is off the gas at any speed. Otherwise the car is fine.. not down on power or anything.

The check engine light finally came on... P0507 : Idle air control system expected RPM to high

any ideas??

Same description is occurring on my 03 W211 AMG, but only when cold (<45 F). Mine has >>not<< set a Pcode yet, but I will start to figure out some of the following below:

Causes A P0507 DTC trouble code may be caused by one or more of the following:
A vacuum leak Leaking air intake after the throttle body
EGR valve leaking vacuum
A faulty positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve
Damaged/failed/dirty throttle body
Failed EVAP system
Failed IAC (idle air controller) or faulty IAC circuit

Anybody actually solve this?

Mine did that and it was a vacuum line right below where fuel line comes into the engine bay (driver side, rear of the engine). Mine likes to pop of from time to time. Also check both ends of that line
