Hey guys, Thinking of getting an Austin Martin DB9 in silver . If I throw on the same set of Vellano Wheels that I have on my beast now I think it just may be some what nicer than what I have now What do you think? Any input?. Those DB9's sure do look great.

Do it! The DB9's are very nice. I see your silver theme going, but I'd suggest looking into their dark grey/charcoal option with the Iron Ore interior. Looks great.

One of the most beautiful cars, and sounds wonderful. Incredibly taught chassis, but cars are known to have the odd problem or 2, so be sure you check the car out thoroughly and review all the works done.

When you lookup the dealership be sure to look up Aston Martin though.

I have never been impressed with the power of any Austin Martin, even the Vanquish S but I think it is a great GT car. It is also hard to beat the custom ordered interiors if they were well optioned and also many of the exterior details. As long as you are not expecting it to be a faster car, I think you will be very happy with it and several friends own and love them. I would venture to say that I know more AM owners then I know AMG owners (outside the forum of course).

DB9 is an amazing car to look at, but not so amazing to drive unfortunately. Very cramped inside, useless rear seats (my 110lb girlfriend could barely fit in the back!), so-so performance, weak brakes, poor ergonomics, poor visibility. The way it looks and sounds almost makes up for all the issues though

The Aston is GORGEOUS and fun, but no monster. What will be your play toy?

p.s. I call dibs on the 3 ECU tune files for the 63s

I think he's on the right track bro, there's nothing sexier than an AM. Nothing. Ian Callum is a genius who was sent here by the lord to show us to the automotive promised land.

Sometimes its not all about speed my friend. I can't wait to test drive the 2009 AM DB9 given the number of changes that will be occuring. I think it will be money well spent.

They are more common in LA than the CLS, and much less comfy, much slower, and only a tad sexier maybe.

Ricks car in person looks as good as any Bond car, plus I would lose my only comp for the crown.

I like the car but it is packaging and it will never perform like an AMG

A tad sexier? Come on now ... lets be honest!

Of course would I want that slow *** car ... I'd spend the money elsewhere.
