How Much $$$ to Paint Stock Grill???
To those of you with painted stock grills, How much did it cost you to paint? If in LA or OC, where?

I'm picking mine up on Friday. Total cost for sanding, paint and install $125.

How long did it take to get done? I am thinking about painting my grill and I don't know how people do it. Did you just park the car, drive it without the grill (that might look kinda mean) or get a replacement until yours was finished?

yeah i have been thinking of having mine painted too. I was maybe going to buy a new grill. have the new one painted. and just swap out....I think...

I actually ordered a black grill on line that turned out be be a pos. So I put the pos on the car and left the oem grill behind to be painted. A good shop should have it done in less than a week. They need to sand down the oem grill so the black paint will stick.

call Ed or Jon @ HMS, they do calipers too etc. they are at the 22 fwy and Beach blvd.

Is there a specific black color that works better than another? Say, a flat black vs a gloss black, etc.? Thanks!
