I just went in to the stealership for my b service yesterday and couldn't help but feel violated!!! For future service of this sort I would prefer to go to a good independent shop. Does anyone have any recomendations in northern NJ?
I hear good things about funktion auto. IMA motorsports has avery nice facility too. Both are a little pricey though. What does a Service B consist of? Maybe I can do it for you

They can't be worse then the stealership. Service B is an oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, wiper inspection, air filter inspection, etc. I.E. a lot of inspecting and an oil change. They quoted me $450!!!!!!!!! Needless to say, I opted for the oil change only since the car has been running great.
While I was there we got to talking about brakes, and he said pads and rotors will be $3,000 for the fronts only!!! That's when I said "self, you need to find a good independent shop...". Thanks for the names, I'll check them out.
I can do all those things except rotate tires. I would check with IMA first. I talked to the owner Ivan at length for a while. VERY knowledgeable and build some crazy stree and race cars. 703-327-9858
