I was cruising around 75-80 and saw this crazy benz with wide fender come up on me fast. I immediately knew what it was. We both punched it and he was pulling away steadily from me all the way till 155 at which point he passed me like I was stopped. I found out later that Renntech did some work to it. Nevertheless, amazingly fast car that sounds like a true race car.

My AMG Certified Speedo said they were doing 54 MPH and the 9500 iX which also gives GPS speed on alert verified the same thing. Plus , I did an amazing job of photoshop on that , so it LOOKS like two cars racing, BUT they were actually on separate roads in different directions.

But jim is running about 70rwhp more than me in a lighter car....
..... When we got to the track and the BS got traction it was a TOTALLY different story, i hope someone took a vid of it that was there.... i forgot to bring my camera to the track day

Sweet run. Did you spray during that race jrcart? Your car is sick fast if you were able to easily reel him in after being down 3+ car lengths!
On a side note...anyone up for GLD tonight? I know its last second, but my friend (Black '06 E55 stock) and I (Black '05 E55 ASP/Green Filters/Code3 HE) are going up there to get a couple of runs in. It would be cool to see some other mb's there. My other friend ('08 C6 Z06 stock) and my cousin ('04 SRT-10 Int/Exh) may come to.
Last year I ran a 12.5@118 stock in 40deg weather. About a month ago I had CPT in Chicago install my ASP pulley, Code3 HE, and Green filters with no tune and would like to see what trap I run now. It'll be 50deg and 87% humidity tonight, so I'm not sure what trap I'll run.
