chiromikey, Shawn actually hit the 1.68 and 1.67 on the 60' twice at Fontana. One time was before he added headers and the other time was after he added headers but before the TB. I saw it myself. The track prep at Fontana is one of the BEST. In fact, we were joking last time that it is so sticky at the track that it actually robs us of more time than it helps us. I don't know if Jangy actually hit the 1.60s, but I know Shawn did. However, Shawn is running 295s DR in the rear.

i do recall shawn's runs and like i said originally, there are only a select few that have done 1.6x 60ft times since mb's recall flash...only 3 besides myself that i know about (yes, i'm keeping track). like i said, this is a BIG deal to me, which is why i'm hoping mhp can do what they say and we ALL can start enjoying some lower 60ft times.

Ooohhhhh..... I remember you now. You're super Mikey (that's what Juicee called you). He said you run as consistent low 60' times as Shawn. He said you two were one of the few that do it very consistently. He kept talking about you at Fontana the weekend after he ran with you in AZ

Well, considering Jangy backed out I don't think there is going to be any AMG Vegas meet, although it does have a nice ring to it. Maybe I'll organize one of those for next March. Anyone down for a block of suites at the PALMS and renting out LVMS next February or March? If it goes down there is going to be some "requirements" that must be met in order to attend, this will be an "experts" only event if you catch my drift

been hearing about some of the srt8 guys having trouble with their upgraded half shafts but haven't followed the situation close enough to know more than that.
it's going to be something if we can lift the front wheels off the ground on a fully clothed 4k+ lb street car. that's worth a half shaft or two to me!!!

It's gay that it's all dramatic and ****. It should just be a couple of enthusiasts who wanna see who is faster and act like gentlemen about it and not like a couple of ricers in a civic. No need to go all crazy and start betting crazy money either. But yeah, I'd like to see a race between the 2, it should be interesting. I supposed these two need to just keep it civil and leave the cheap shots at home.

Maybe he is, but talk is cheap, I'm getting sick of these guys trying to call me out, challenging me to races and backing out or changing the original race/bet to better suit their agenda. The other thing I'm sick of is these guy who challenge me to a race and then expect me to cart my butt across the country to race them. Where I come from the guy tha makes the challenge also makes the trip.
I know how fast my car is (so far) and so do a couple dozen of the guys on this board that have seen it run in person, you don't see any of them flapping their jaws or making challenges do you. Funniest part is there are still a few guys out there that don't belive my car has run the times it has, even with time slip and video proof. I'm learning how this internet tough guys stuff works and it's really kind of funny.

The best I have managed with the MT's is a 1.703 (I have slip to prove it). The best I have done on the Corsas is an impressive (I thought so anyway) 1.795. I think I can get into the very high 1.6's (1.68-1.69), but a 1.61 or 1.60 is probably out of reach I think. I'm getting it good out of the hole, it's further down the track at the 1/8 mile and even the 1000" point where I am losing traction.
