Put up or shut up.....................

You can carry my NOS bottle in your car if you want, I don't need it to beat you. My car still runs 11.4's on motor only, verified by a handfull of guys on this board who saw watched me re-intall my bottle AFTER my 11.4 pass. If you don't believe me you can ask them yourself.

It is obvious you bit off more than you can chew here.
Jim, please stop with the attacks unless that is all you want to do. If you want to have some fun jousting and then take it to a race, then lets do that. Yes, I challenged you and I do want to race. Lets see what your car runs when you meet me and we go side by side. I've got a spare bottle if you need it. It isn't the first time EVO put two in a car.

Vadim..... Go nuts, bro!! Can VRP make a E55 that is faster than Jim's black series? Not the one in his head, but the one on the road.

That list of mods is cute. That poor car is gonna be down for a LOOONG time when you attempt them, so lets get this over with while you only put 511 to the floor.
?????? My car is gonna be down for a long time???? My theory is break buy a new one, if it breaks I will just build it bigger, stonger and faster.

As for Vegas next week...I live in Chicago, I usually fly to Vegas, it's like 1600 miles, but to take your $10,000 I can put it in a trailer and have one of my drivers drive it out there. I am going to be there Friday 9/12 - Monday 9/15, name your date. Are we going to split the track rental or make the loser pay for that as well?

How am I attacking you? Evo did not even instal the NOS! You can persoanlly dis-connest the hoses and nozzles going into my airbox, I will plug the holes with aluminum shim tape for the pass.

What' you're excuse gonn abe now? Whay can't you believe I ran 11.40's on motor, why do you think I need to rely on spray?

This weekend? Lets do it. You can talk smack but can we get rid of the personals? I suppose loser should pay for the track. Why not just meet up and race?

I just don't think you'll see those numbers out here, especiall now. I'm not a big numbers guy, since it is so hard to handicap the tracks.

We need to set up a Pay Pal account to send the funds to. There is no way I'm going to trailer my car to friggin Las Vegas and then get stood up or stiffed by you...no offense, but I hope you understand my concerns. I will wire my funds as well. I say we wire $12k each, that will cover the wager and track rental. Vegas is a tank of gas and 4 hour drive for you, it will take my hauler 2 days to get there., forgive me if I'm being a little over cautious.

Not at all. I agree that we need to set this up proper. I say we find a party we trust, since paypal will cost a load. But anyhow, your concerns are warranted.

Since it ooks like we will be on a track vs streets, lets decide on the winning whatevers. Is it et, first to cross, or what. Obviously you will trap nicely. We are doing an 1/8th mile, right? Just kidding

We are in luck, I just got off the phone with LVMS and they just happen to have a test & tune this friday night from 5:00-9:00pm. That will save one of us a track rental fee.

Jangy; One other thing, you keep claiming that you challenged me to a race, but not a drag race, what kind of race did you challenge me to? Would you rather we race on a road course? Is that more to your liking? Do you want to do a top speed run, maybe a roll-on? Let me know, I'm pretty much open to any and all offers.

Now why would I want to race your car in any of those mentioned conditions? I meant just street racing (light to light, etc.) but I think the track thing is working out.

Really? 1/8th for sure. How about some side bets? Like 60 foots and even 1/4 mile (although longer is better for you ).

How many runs can you go? Do you want all the bets on one run or on more? Lets just set ground rules. I also brought up heating and you keep bringing up consistency. Back to back runs solves that question. 10 runs back to back with each run having certain goals (i.e. 1/8th, 60 foot, 1/4, etc.) and we bet on each thing. Is that cool?

How many times can I go? I can race all day....Last Saturday I attended the LET event and ran four runs back to back to back to back. I have the slips in front of me and the slips have the time of day on them

See for yourself, keep in mind the air temps where in the mid 90's and the track temp was over 125 degrees. This can be confirmed by The National Weather Service, U.S 41 Drag Strip, Chicago X, AMG Jerry as well as about a dozen other MB World members who were present at the event and/or racing me. If you don't want to take their word I can fax you copies of the slips.

15:19:36 (3:19pm)--------11.557 @120.9mph

15:22:28 (3:22pm)--------11.7049 @ 119.42mph

15:25:58 (3:25pm)--------11.6833 @ 118.08mph

15:29:02 (3:29pm)--------11.6287 @ 119.78mph

LOOKS LIKE THE HEAT IS A REAL HP KILLER DOESN'T IT?????????????

Jangy, you could only dream of E/T's like those in perfect conditions, and these conditions were far from perfect. Why don't you go check the DA for that time of the day at that track

I have to cheer for Jangy on this one. It would break my heart if a 63 beat a 55 from a dig. I'm pretty sure I'd have to just sell my car.

Guys, it is a big mistake going on an open night test and tune to any track. The tracks are usually busy and you won't be able to run more than 2 to 3 runs in those 4 hours (probably 3 hours if you take out inspection time). You should rent the track for a day, so that you can do multiple runs right after each other and try multiple setups. Plus, you can have some warm-up runs as well.

As for the money thing, you both should send me the money by tomorrow plus my 5% handling fee j/k

I'd start checking the Blue Book numbers on your car then...so confident of the 55, why don't you make a little side bet? I'm offering up $500.00 side bets for anyone that wants to bet on Jangy.

I appreciate your concern, however, I'm going to Vegas for a mini vacation, not to race my car. I will only need 2 passes to beat him, one to test the grip in the box and one to beat him. I'll even man up and give him choice of lanes...

why not rent a track and have an MB day? Either way, I am down for either as long as it happens.
