2003 W211 E55
Filters
Do aftermarket filter improve the sound on a stock e55. What I am tying to say is does it give the engine a growling sound?
Also what filters do you all recommend.

No I didn't notice any difference in sound but there was a slight difference in performance using K&N's.

the engine is so well insulated from the cabin, you'd have hard time noticing a difference in sound if you completely opened up your airbox.
