Noise when switching to Reverse

Hello,

I was wondering if the noise when shifting to reverse from P to R or from N to R was normal. When I shift from anything else there is no sound, but when I go into R there is sound coming from the tranny, I believe and also a mechanical sound and especially when I reverse and my foot is on the brakes I can feel vibration on the brake pedal.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

Is the noise a one time per shift or is it a continuous noise? The vibration in the brake pedal is most likely the (brakes) SBC unit calibrating, many reports of this feel in the pedal.

thanks a lot Yacht Master, I did a search of the sbc noise and it seems like the issue is the sound of the sbc unit calibrating pressure, etc.

thanks again
