First and foremost that is my 335 in the videos.

Secondly I am not here to bash your cars I love mercedes!

Thirdly this is towards oxygen. What we did on that sidestreet in my eyes is not considered a "race" more of a spurt. I rang one gear out and started in the wrong gear at that. You can see evidence from that how the e55 was pulling hard on me. We went from 15 to like 55 lol. Yes I am auto, but the tip was in m2 not m1. Thirdly my 1/2 gears are on there way out. Also I wanted to run you on the highway for a multitude of reasons. Obviously you definatly have tons more hp then me. But I do not know how much rwhp you have and I also dont know your weight. So in that case I have no idea what your hp/weight ratios are. All i know is you have a modded s600. I do not know if I can beat you or plan on it, But I would like to do some runs where we are in excess of 120+. I know your modded also and I do like your car and I can only imagine how it pulls uptop. But for my own personal knowledge i would love to do a few rolling runs on the highway and see the outcome.

And finally lol skratch77 is very knowledgable of 335s. I would definatly listen to what he has to say pertaining to this thread!

You don't want to race Oxygen on the frwy it'll be plain ugly, I raced a modded 335i w/intake J3 etc.. When I added 98-100 octane I left him like he was sitting still My SL600 is Stock except for cat-back...

I thru it out as a joke bro J/K means just kidding, I love all perf rides to some degree. My old bro Mario owns the 335i I ran it multiple times the pic in my sig was taken by him, does that rearview mir look familiar? He had the 1st beta tester J3 + ran the race map setting plus race gas vs my SL600...

J3 is easier to type, & everyone knows it's not Vishnu V3 etc..

STOCK 600tt rwhp 450-480 STOCK rwto 530-540 they are highly underrated frm factory

ECU/TCU they squirt out 520-550 rwhp 650-700 rwto

yea sounds like the same my car did when stock..

just the IAT rising and the car doing its job shutting things down, you cant expect to do alot of Full bursts run RIGHT after the car just went into limp mode. Compared to some people u are in heaven. my friends got so bad, after 2 pulls sometimes even one pull the car went into limp.

Get your intercooler pump changed. The stock intercooler pumps are prone to failure.

its not a sick E55, the OP wants to address a common issue with many E55's. he wont be gainging much power with the new IC pump. just wont heat soak and get throw in limp mode as much as stock which is his biggest complaint.
you cant beat a C63 on a Failed IC pump im sorry.(check his threads)

starting in version 29.2 of software for the 335, the bmw software will notice a juicebox or otherwise and store a fault to indicate a juicebox or vishnu and will void the warranty on the car. bmw is agressively going against the tuners

ouch.

ouch.

we all know about the new ecus and how bmw can tell if you have a tune. All the new tunes ARE NOT DETECTABLE,we have found ways around bmws ecu and the v3 and jb3 is ok with new cars ect.

BMW added a fueling code that mesures if you add more gas in the mapping, easy fix, leave the stock threshhold where it is and up the fuel pressure a little and sneak right by there way of detecting, its a cat and mouse game but the new tunes are safe. The only draw back is you cant break over 370rwt without triggering the darn new ecu. They have figured a way to have the ecu know how much fuel and load it needs to make x amount of torque.

Here is my friends car that is dealer safe and he only has a jb3,nothing else in this dyno.

http://www.magnusonproducts.com/magnusonmoss.htm

Legally, a vehicle manufacturer cannot void the warranty on a vehicle due to an aftermarket part unless they can prove that the aftermarket part caused or contributed to the failure in the vehicle (per the Magnuson Moss Warranty Act (15 U.S.C. 2302(C)) . For best results, consider working with performance-oriented dealerships with a proven history of working with customers. If your vehicle manufacturer fails to honor emission/warranty claims, contact EPA at (202) 260-2080 or www.epa.gov. If federal warranty protection is denied, contact the FTC at (202) 326-3128 or

I am getting this new pump only because of the good feedback I have seen on it. I don't think I have a failed IC pump but I do think that this new pump is going to be better then my stock pump. I'm only hoping it helps my supercharger from turning off and that's it. I'm not looking for anything more then that.

I really don't know why you all get so steamed up watching these videos.
They are all so dodgy, camera waving all over the place, usually in the dark
and done by people who could be purposely driving to favor a certain model. I just watched a video between a CL65,M5 and GTR. One of you guys posted it and it's on a Beemer forum. In the video the M5 wins(of course)
with the GTR close and you don't even see the CL65 because it can't get ahead of the guy taking the video. You just see it's nose at the end, must be a fast camera car!! There is no way they would both leave the CL65 so far
behind, certainly not the M5. Unless drag racing is carried out in light dry days by impartial people it's no use believing them.

HAHAh im sorry but there is no truth to anything in your post so I will infect it with some. The e55 who raced me is from your forum and why would he try and cheat himself out of winning to make my car look better? Thats the funniest thing I have heard in a long time. Second of all here a link to that gtr race you speak of http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=166645. If my eyes aren't lying then the GTR beats everything but the place list goes like this. First/GTR Second/M5/ Third/cl65 Fourth/335. So mabey you were speaking of a different thread or seen the wrong car win but the gtr destoys them all sorry. And yes thats on a bmw forum. Aside from all that personally i think the camera is very steady but thats just personal opinion.

i just got my new johnson pump today but I don't want to install it without ordering a new heat exchanger. I wanted to order a heat exchanger from code3 because there is no drilling required. Is code3 h/e the way to go or does anyone have a better 1. Your info is greatly appreciated.

I absolutely LOVE my Code3 exchanger!!!

Bolted up spot on and replaced my stocker AND my aftermarket with supposedly more room than both. (I have a 2003 so I can use the 7")

Only problem is that we have had a couple of problems with them being slow to respond so give Brandon a buzz before ordering. Hate to have you waiting a week or 2.

Otherwise LET makes a real nice kit as well.

Good luck and keep us posted.

7" are only for the 2003's. You would need the 5.5" core due to your oil cooler underneath.

Lemme know if you need any other info.

Sounds dumb, but really try the "Sneaky ECU" reset before the next race. Resetting those tranny shifts patterns is just amazing sometimes.

I finally figured out how to do it and I swear I felt a difference. That was the first time I ever did it and it was great. I will definetly use it for next time. I will not be able to have all of this installed by this thursday when we meet again. Hopefully the next week I should be good to go. I have a c63 rematch to run and this V3 rematch to run.

Good luck with the installs. should def make a very nice improvment.

BTW, the rematch is most likely gonna be the same outcome as before with boths cars, you will bea tthe C63 and lose to the v3 335i again. but you can try beating them alot more times without the SC shutting off on you
