The lease on my 06 e55 is up soon...Not quite sure whether to upgrade to e63 or stick with e55...Mine is a pretty high mileage car and i was planning on finding a 05-06 e55 with low miles, getting extended warranty, etc... Just not as impressed with the 63...that massive torque down in the rpm range is really missing...

Still a year or more away from turbo v8 Benz's.
Maybe look into some of the older TT600's. S and SL's sure get up and smoke and with simple ECU/TCU mod, they are out of control.

That's an interesting though....an SL600 with some mods would be a great car.
As much as I love the E63, it is just way too much of a step sideways over the E55 and lacks the grunt out of the hole. When I am done with my E55 next year, I plan on looking at either an M5/M6 or an SL600/SL65 for V12 badness.
I am not really interested in owning an AMG without forced induction after having had 3 with FI.

Most M cars lack torque v. their AMG competition but more than make up for it in other ways. Alongside my AMG cars, I have had 4 Ms and never found them lacking for power.
