head rest adjusting

How do you push them all the way back? (not up and down vertically)
I checked the owners manual seems like you just pull them front and back from the top, I tried and they won't move as they just stuck there.

thats for a 08 e63, thanks!

If it's the same as the E55, then they're hinged at the top and move front/back at the bottom. Hope this helps.

E63
The e63 headrest slides back and forth, just use a bit of effort and pull, it's a bit tight.

I tried to pull or push with strong effort, tried to apply force from top, bottom or sides, no luck....

every since someone rearended me it sees like they all came all the way out, it is so annoying that can't push them back =(

2006 E55 AMG
Are you talking about the front or rear headrests?

There is probably a little L shaped tool in the tool kit somewhere, the owners manual describes how to slide it down into the headrest to unlock it and slide the front part back into the correct position. When rear ended, the active head restraint was activated.
