It was a CL600 with a lot of work done. Bigger turbos, FMIC, IC piping and a whole lot of tuning. The driver said the car has low 10's in it but the track wouldnt hold. His 2nd run he made a bead line for the left wall but got of the gas and coasted to the 1/4.
Thanks again Wayne, I had a blast and a 12.22 at 112 was my best pass of the day.

Everything else stock. Stock turbos, and no FMIC.
Wish we had more time and did more runs but we had to be back in the Chicagoland area by 5pm. The track prep was however not so great. The car has more in it the track just did not hold.

Thanks to ChicagoX for another great day! It was great to see the crew and put a few more faces with names.
I went into the day with the thought finishing off my virtually bald (below the wear bars) PS2's. For this reason, I didn't expect to beat my previous best (a measly 12.54 E/T). To my surprise, I was able to set a PB on E/T and trap speed.
My car ('07 M6) only has RPI Scoops which are small pieces of metal that direct more air into the airboxes and BMC air filters (very minor "mods" IMO).
My PB E/T slip looks like this:
60ft........ 2.0771
1/8 E/T... 8.0942
1/8 MPH.. 93.93
1000'...... 10.3530
1/4 E/T... 12.2481
1/4 MPH.. 120.96
My PB trap speed slip looks like this:
60ft........ 2.1568
1/8 E/T... 8.1820
1/8 MPH.. 94.13
1000'...... 10.4360
1/4 E/T... 12.3170
1/4 MPH.. 121.62
Needless to say I was more than happy. A quick look at dragtimes will give you a frame of reference for comparison.
Oh, and Juicee... I have videos to upload but it will probably be a few days because I'm going out of town...

Nice run, you need to get out to MIR and represent Chi-town with Wayne Marko and I. We are bringing one of the quickest motor only 55's in the country, one of the quickest motor only 65's in the country and the fastest/quickest 63 in the country why not throw in the quickest C32 in the country for good measure! What does you 12.3 correct out to at MIR? You should try to make it

Wayne, congrats on your new PB e/t, it looks like you are going to be giving me a run for my money on motor only passes at MIR, my fastest motor only is 11.47, so you are knocking on my door.
BTW, PM me or give me a call when you iron out your travel plans for MIR, maybe all us Chicago guys can make the trek together.

Wayne, thank you for organizing a great day. Sorry I had to split early. It was nice to meet everyone.
I gained great respect for the C32/SRT6 cars, true pocket rockets!! Props guys!
Brian's S600! man what a luxo-yacht, and 12.5 to boot, killer combo.
The SL65 Renntech was drop dead gorgeous.
my best run of the day was my 1st run, when I walked it out of the hole and slowly squeezed the trigger through 2nd and netted;
.225 reaction time
1.9010 60'
7.4339 1/8 mile
100.65 mph
9.5398 1000'
11.3201 1/4 mile
126.71 mph
I made it home in record time, 4 1/4 hrs, 28.6 mpg, hard to complain about that.
Thanks again

After the second pass, they went about their business without saying a word.
The way I see it, the local authorities owe me $100.00, or $104.00 if using PayPal. Please send payment to ChicagoX@gmail.com as soon as possible, or collection activities may need to be initiated.

W211 E55 AMG, LS2 GTO
Wayne, nice event
and despite coming over at noon were able to run 5 times then had to get back to Chicago.
I took some pics with lines of cars and several of my video runs with different E55 and can post if you guys like. Not bad for the first time, however couldn't hook up for ***** with 1.87 60' being the best. However, with all motor LS2 GTO, stock gears, so-so 60' time ran the best 11.8@118.42mph
. This is definitely low 11s car with 1.5-1.6 60' along with upgraded gears and light weight rims. Maybe bring my stock '03 E55 next time just for fun too.
