Perhaps it is the carbon unit?

We seem to have ruled everything else out.

I think it is....4000lb sedan that runs low 12's/high 11's in the1/4mile in stock form while giving you a massage the whole time...not many cars can do that.

qat = Sell your 'pos' and go drive your $40k...odyssey...have at it. I'll give you $20k for you car "as is." We are enthusiasts and love these cars regardless of their present value. Many members have offered their help to you but you remain ungrateful and bitter.

Might have to.

What help?- more like refferals

I didn't expect anything from anyone- so why would I be ungrateful and bitter if I have no expectations?

Its more like people take quick offense because they can't handle the idea that someone is saying something neg about their only prized possession

People have a right to express their opinions does not mean they don't like their car

I should not have to explain myself- If you not mature enough to understand then thats your problem

Price of the vehicle was never an issue to me- someone was mentioning that I don't have an E55

Funny- its not a super car- you can buy as many as you want on AutoTrader

I don't expect you to understand but what I was getting at was- why would I pretend I own an E55- its not unique.

You should consider reading the threads thoroughly before making a misinformed judgement- being prejudice won't get you far

Since you know so much about Mercedes owners- Do they act like little sissy girls when they hear neg. news about their MB vehicles?

Lets face it, nothing is perfect. I like my car more than not. Just had a few questions about my car and then a bunch of girls chimed in and tried to do some trash talking and hair pulling- luckily my hair is very short.

You girls could have killed the thread but like many girls do- they complain so now this thread is a girl complaining forum- complaining to the WHINER. Let me have it girls- give me your best shot. Unload the Estrogen.

Thanks guys. Had to write a paper for my Sociology class. Have a friend that suggested this forum and after reading a previous article, just had to do it. Perfect test rats.

So, in other words, you were outed also as a poser.

Looks like we passed the poser test with flying colors...and without Jangy or CH's help.

Guess it was the carbon unit afterall.

A sweet ride, yes but I think it misses the mark as a super car. That phrase is thrown around to much. there are only a few in my book.

Sorry - it's NOT a super car and it's silly to think otherwise. A 1/4 mile does not a super car make.

Why do these threads always end up a slagging match.
Your answer is an E55 is built for comfort and straight line speed.
Don't bother resetting the ECU I have tried but is hasn't cured my fault.
My 600 had a new g/box, since then I have a problem similar to yours.
Before I needed to give a slight pressure on the throttle for it to change down
very responsively, now I push the throttle, nothing...sometimes it almost
feels like the harder I push the slower it goes, then it will suddenly change down 1 or 2 gears with a jerk and scream the engine.
I have taken to the main dealer, he says it feels OK to him!!! But I know different. So somebody tell him what's wrong with his car as it might cure mine.

Title of paper: "How I trolled an Internet forum and inflamed the population there with ignorant, inflammatory remarks". Right up there with "I yelled fire in a crowded theater and everyone ran out".

Wow, I bet you get an A plus on that one!!

I've never been called deep or spiritual, but there is a thing called karma, and payback is a b...

"Karma means "deed" or "act" and more broadly names the universal principle of cause and effect, action and reaction that governs all life. Karma is not fate, for humans act with free will creating their own destiny. According to the Vedas, if we sow goodness, we will reap goodness; if we sow evil, we will reap evil. Karma refers to the totality of our actions and their concomitant reactions in this and previous lives, all of which determines our future. The conquest of karma lies in intelligent action and dispassionate response."

So in other words his minivan will be rear ended this weekend by someone with no insurance who runs. And an E55 owner will drive by while the smoke clears and flip him off...

Lol. My car's a '02 that went into service on 7/30/2002. What's your imaginary E55, an '03 that went into service BEFORE mine did, or an '04 that went into service within 6 months of mine? So pick your poison...cause' no matter how you cut it if my car's an old POS then so's yours.

Wreckage yard. Bahaha. Ok. Here ya go:

So ya, I'd sure send a $33k car to the wrecking yard in a heartbeat. Especially one that was a $60k+ car when I bought it (which I'm sure is more than you would have paid for your imaginary Benz, if you actually owned one that is...which you don't). Ya that salvage place is probably just FLOODED with SL600s...I'm sure you could line them up and circle the earth with the junked ones, they are such pieces of crap. FYI you douchebag and a half: Your "alleged" E55 books out in the same range. So again, if my car's a POS, then so's yours.

And speaking of junkyards, that's where whatever you *really* drive belongs...and I'm picturing some kind of riced-out Acura legend from 1992. Or maybe a cracked out SC300 lexus. I bet ur saving up for that fake gucci-print interior.

Keep trying poser. Still waiting on that pic of your "alleged" Benz, by the way. Something tell me we'll be waiting for awhile. Now you have to go out and find one in a parking lot somewhere that matches your description of "your" car so you can photograph it. Damn. What a PITA.

Oh damn!

I just read a little further down the page after typing my response to you, only to realize that I was 100% right about you from the beginning!

A total poser! Bahahahhahaa. I knew it right off the bat. Props to me.

What are you, 12? Honestly? I haven't seen anyone try to pull the "Oh ya, you only THINK you busted/embarassed/pwned/humiliated me, because really that was my plan all along" thing since I was in elementary school. That was a real popular tactic back then. Glad to see it's still alive and well.

It's all BS.

He was just pulling the oldest trick in the book, the ole' "Oh, I completely pwned myself just to see whether YOU would fall for it or not" routine. Such a steaming pile of mushroom-growing crap.
