Exclamation How good are the 8-Pot Brembo Brakes?

I need opinions on how good the 8-pot brembo brakes are. For the size of the caliper (~14in) and the size of the rotors (14.4 in), you would expect for them to throw you through the front windows with a 100ft or better 60-0 stopping distance .

Then why do the official specs list ~120ft 60-0 stopping distances and why does Stoptech offer a brake "upgrade" for this application.

Feedback?

maybe for a Z06 or 997TT its under 100 but for our plump girls it may be more like 110. I think our factory brakes are good for something like 114' I could be wrong but I thought I read that somewhere about our brakes.
