It was fun meeting up with everyone today. i did not have time to properly setup the camera. next time we will have a dedicated camera man.
I ran the fully modded dinan M5 from a 30mph roll and it was pretty even until we got into triple digits and he pulled on me by 2 car lengths till we stopped at around 130ish mph (m5 must have shifted 3 times by the time i was in 3rd gear!
) these guys were a bunch of wild animals!! hot lapping like it was a nascar race. 
I will need cooling mods to do that again. good times fellas! Next time someone do some digs with me!!

too bad ricker could not make it down in time.

In the 1/4? i'm pretty sure it will, top speed it should certainly close the gap at least. i will let you know once i mod.

then battery error wont go away so I end up @ Calabasas Merc service dept @ 7:45 am they opened @ 8am got lucky & tech got my car in front of 15 others for quick scan (no charge) turns out a pre-fuse is blown which in turn prevents 2nd frnt motor batt from charging, but they didn't have the replacement fuse part in stock, thought I had it fixed
I had to go home or possibly be stranded once new battery was drained dead... in hindsight I lucked out pulling off to get gas in calabasas, ps thanks to Serge (sp) for tech help on phn while I tried to trouble shoot w/Mercedes tech..
Also Max/Danny were a reassuring help as well
next time guys...I heard Vic's M6 was a monster

Good times early in Mex today ... It was nice to put the face to some names and see some old schoolers again.
I wish there were vids of my runs but there are others that were caught and should be posted soon.
