safe way to clean engine bay?
Hello all,
Habe been looking into cleaning my engine bay since its been dusty alot this year (dust today also
) and was wondering whats the safest way to go?
I know there are specail engine bay cleaners out there, but the thought of shampo in my engine bay scares me...
advice please

Simple Green (or any APC) mixed 50/50 with water, let it dwell for a bit. Then use a brush for the nasty spots. Just be careful with the water, and I start the car while rinsing and to get it dry. Try some CD2 or some of your QD mixed with water for some shine.
