BMW 530 - Looking for a CLS55
2007 CPO E63 Fair Price?

I found an CPO 07 E63 with 20k miles for $53k.

Is this a good price?

Not sure if I should just pick up an E55 since the E63 will take a big hit next year....

Thanks in advance guys.

$53K appears to be a very good price for a CPO. What options are on the car?

That actually sounds like a very good price in my opinion. 06 e55s are not going for much less than that. and the E63 has the updated body and command system with the new 7speed auto. I heard the brakes and suspension are better also but not positive if thats true. Maybe someone here can confirm that.
I like everything about the E63 better than the E55 except the motor. I wish they stuck with an updated version of the 55 motor instead of the 63. The 55 motor is just capable of such big power so easily. If they took the 55 motor and updated the cooling and gave it a bit more boost for 2007 I would have bought one already. The 6.2 v8 is no slouch but you cant compare the 55 to anything out there. The 63 motor is closer to the V10 in the M5 than the 55 motor in feel. although the 63 has more to TQ than the V10

I think it's a good price!!!

I personally love both the E55 and E63, I guess it just comes down to how much you're willing to modify each. As Blownbenz mentioned, the 55's have a lot of room to grow.

Good luck with your purchase!

I think it's a really good price. Auction prices were not too far off for a good conditioned 2007 E63

+1. That's a very good price. What option(s) does the car have?

Thanks for the input guys...I guess I'll have to seriously consider it... I'm just "iffy" to buy an E63 as they will get hit HARD in '09.

Thus I was looking for an E55 which I think already took the Brunt of the depreciation already...

Car Specs:

Silver/Black
2007 E63
20k Miles (kinda high for a 2007 I think)
Options: P2 + Parktronic

They wanted 55k for it....I talked to the salesman on the phone and offered 53k and they said they could work with that.... Hope they are not pulling my leg.

But even at 55k ...seems like it's a decent price?
