I went by the shop that works on my car and they have a car there (CLS55) that they are shipping to Dubai. They removed the cats and shut the rear O2 sensors off because in Dubai inspection is not an issue. In NY, however, inspection is an issue. What do you guys think about them making me this cat delete pipe and when I need to go in for inspection I can bolt the factory cats right back in, reset the readiness codes and then swap them out again. Here are some photos of them getting installed the other day when I was down there.











As you can see they did not use any of the factory piping but they used all the factory hardware so that the factory pieces can be bolted back in place. This car has Kleemann headers as well.

They do great fabrication work. You should see the header that they built for a 2007 Audi A4 with a custom turbo kit. They also did an insane custom intake manifold for it. I am sure that there are a lot of tuners and fabricators around the country like them but in NY I have never found another shop that has the same capabilities as them and I have been to a lot of them. I am so glad I found them but my wallet takes a hit sometimes. You get what you pay for I guess.

Why not use racing cats (some on here have, can't remember the details) - no emmisions problems, no CEL, little Hp loss - best of both worlds.

It's the same size as the stock exhaust. 2 3/4"

It's RPM, they are in Plainview which is on Long Island too. They are right at exit 46 of the LIE.
