Jacking area point
My jacking area point is weird, it's a hole???
Am I missing a part that goes in the hole?

You are missing the "Jack pads,"
The jackpads are rectangular with a thick plastic screw that pops it into the hole on the chassis.
You can get the jackpads from MB for about $10/each. You'll need four of them. =)

It's what the dealer uses on the lifts at the service facilities - looks like a small puck that inserts into the hold to keep the car from moving while on the lift. Gives the car more stability on the lift than just the friction fit of it's own weight. Perhaps the jack that came with the car has a built in puck that is the same ??
