Headlight Question

Members,

are all SL55 come with Bi Xenon Headlight? and also are they self adjusted headlight? meaning are they supposed to go up and down to adjust the level every time you turn on your headlight? or do they need to be adjusted manually by screw driver?

when I start up the car.. it looks like the light appears from the bottom and settles at the set height.

you can adjust via a socket... and wrench. Its a octagon looking plastic nut.. inside the housing. You can see if you stand over your light.

I do have problems with my adjustment and I have tried to adjust manually.

My drivers side.. seems to be pointing too much to the right.. and on certain days.. one light is higher than the other.. and goes away if I restart the car.. and sometimes it does not.
I have tried different suspension modes and the lights do not adjust.

I'm not sure what is going on.. and i'm still working and testing.

any ideas?

Thank you for the info. Mine doesnt go up and down. I noticed a two screws on top of the housing. one is black and that adjust height and I see another white screw but not sure what that is. do you know what that screw is for? it is plastic white screw.
