For Sale: SICK E-Class W211 Steering Wheel Black Leather W/Birdeyes Wood

Hey Guys, we just got some steering wheels in and we will be posting them up. This is for a W211 E-Class Sedan 03-06. It's Black Leather with Black Birdseye Wood. It is "AMG" type, meaning it's thicker and has the perforated leather. Below are some pictures. If you guys have any questions feel free to call or PM us. It's honestly a very nice wheel, and the grip feels great.

I know you AMG guys have paddle shifters and our steering wheel does not have the holes cutout for them, but perhaps it could be done. I thought I'd post the wheel in this section too, considering you guys are 211s also.

Maybe someone has done a retrofit or a swap of this kind and could chime in?

Below are details and photos, again, if you guys have ANY questions, feel free to call, PM, or E-Mail us. We also have the carbon fiber wheel here

Price will be $560.00 shipped anywhere in the U.S.
Shipping to AK, PR, and HI shipping will be extra and CA customers add 8.25% tax

Does it, or any wood/leather steering wheel, support the heated steering wheel function...? My 05 E500 has the heating package which includes the heated steering wheel and while I'd like to have a wood/leather steering wheel, probably not at the cost of losing the heating feature... Just curious...

If I wanted to install this wheel and just lose my shift buttons, will there be any issues?

efivefiveamg, sadly, we don't have ANY with the holes. Is the only difference between the wheels the shifter holes? Perhaps one of our wheels could be fabricated to accommodate the shifters?

sdunham, I do not think our wheels will be compatible with the heating function. You will most likely lose the heating feature.

I honestly do not know . Besides the obvious, which is not having shifters, what else could be bad?

I'm concerned about installation, e.g. hiding/tucking away the wires for the shifter buttons, etc.

Also, do you guys do install? I'm seroiusly considering buying this and dealing with not having shifter buttons, but my next concern would be quality/fitment. If you install, I'd be more at ease about these concerns.

Thanks, and btw...I'm local and could set something up this weekend if all works out

efivefiveamg, I totally understand your concerns. Unfortunately, we do not install, but I think most shops can get the job done. Harbormotorsports can definitely make it happen. As far a quality goes, it is perfect! Honestly, it's a great wheel. You are more than welcome to come check it out yourself.

Our department is closed during the weekends and the storefront is open until 12 for Will Call. We are open on the weekdays from 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.

Thanks,
Greg

It's a snap, I had a Full OEM AMG 55 wheel w/shifter buttons installed on my old S430, dealer just left the shifter wiring alone since my old S430 didn't have that feature. Install needs prof since the Air-bag can/will take your melon out if accidentally triggered. Dealer did it for $160 no prob, while I waited..

..............and maybe if you end up taking yours to HMS, I'll buy one and they can cut mine for the shifters and ship it to me

Greg- why not see if you can have HMS see what it takes to cut the wheels for the paddles? I'm sure a local E55 owner would volunteer...............or sell a few to HMS and have them cut.......I'm buying if I can find your wheel ready for the paddles.

Guys, a local customer scooped up this wheel. We still have the carbon one and other wood wheels for the 211. We will be getting a couple more of these soon.

If you guys want different color combinations like all leather, or different color leather, PM us and we can make something happen
