Blown Head Gasket and Melting Hoses!!!

Thank god for extended warranties. I am pushing service F.
ON the way to turn the car in to do the service after not driving it for a week I got in a run with a clown in an M3. After totally cutting his ***** off and shoving them down his neck I stared to smell oil. Man I brought the car in smoking and stunk up the whole service bay at Some OC DEALER
I quicky tunrned off my ELM and shoved a magazine over the box as my SA runs up wondering whats going on.
Anywayyyyyyy I am coverd with my extended warranty and just have to pay for the hoses and I got hoses 100 bux for them.
They are saying I need a brake flush and they want 130 bux for that.
I am living without the brake flush and have 1/3 of my life left.
62K miles and I guess the gaskets needed to be replaced anyway.

So, was your I/C pump out too? What mods do you have? Head gaskets should not need to be changed and something else must have caused the overheating/blown gasket issues.

headgasket is not something that you would epect to go at 60k or ever if properly serviced. i am not sure you are supposed to replace them as maintenance......which leads to a question of how it happenned. def sounds like you overheated during that run ....

Sorry, it was a valve gasket...
They say its normal to go out around service F< I just helped it happen I guess.
Not sure about the details, I will post the details when I get the paper work.

Vader, I thought you said valve cover but last post sites head gasket? What hoses melted or did they blow off?

I posted it wrong, it was a valve and the hoses melted. I will post the detailed report from the stealer.

ooo ok valve cover gasket leaks are common on the 55k. its an easy fix. i just had mine replaced.

i would still be concerned about the blowing and the melting part. if it literally blew out oil means it was pressurized, and that should not happen so something is wrong.

Leaking Valve Cover Gasket also the hoses were the breathers and were leaking. The lower ball joints were worn and replaced.
Total cost to me including service F was 195.00
That is the official report. The blowing and melting were words used by the SA describing the problem.
