2006 carrera 2s couldnt wait for e63
new e
Any word on when the new e will generate an AMG version? I am coming off lease next summer and trying to position myself- knowing the 2010 e will be a new design I'd hate to have a 211 amg when the new one has just come out

W212 will be rolled out in Frankfurt Auto Show 2009. Usually the AMG's start showing up Jan-Feb of the following year.
Most likely will be a gap between your lease end and arrival of the new E but it will SO be worth the wait.
Better Nav, LOTS better handling, and lots of high tech goodies coming. Can't wait.
Only thing we are all wondering about is the turbos. Benz has already said they are coming so they will either come out with the new E or shortly after launch like they did with the 55 to 63 swap.
Not sure how big a deal they are to you, but just know that it's coming sooner or later.
