PLEASE HELP!!

I have been trying to get an 80mm throttle body installed for over a week now. The problem is the crankcase ventillation hose. The stock hose does not fit. I haven't seen it yet but I'm going by to look at it tonight.

They ordered one for an SL which came in today but its not the right one either. I got this TB from Adam(EE) about a year ago and am just now installing it. My mechanic says that the gasket that fits the TB is for a V12. I'm beginning to wonder if I have the right TB.

The number for the part they ordered(CCV hose) that didn't fit is 113-094 0003. Anyone else have trouble with this?

I called Renntech and they told me that the stock CCV hose should work and that it was just very tough to get on. I'll check tonight and let you know.

Thanks Vadim,
My mechanic has got the car running now but a CEL is on. Is this normal after a TB and header install? Does it just need to adapt and then reset the CEL?

I'm thinking there may be an air leak somewhere, either the headers or maybe the CCV hose?

Hmm, it should not have CEL. Have your mechanic read the codes.

We didn't read the codes but we cleared them and it hasn't come back on yet. He said if it came back on that I could just bring it in to the dealership for service and he would take care of it.

Thanks for the help, all is well and running. Its been pouring down rain so I can't tell much difference in the way it runs, it even still sounds almost the same. It will probably rain for the next couple of days just to torture me.
