I've been considering getting an ECU tune from LET or VRP and was just wondering under what circumstances a dealer will reflash/update your ECU when you take it in for servicing? At the moment my car is parked for the winter so sending my ECU out won't really be a big deal. However, in the spring I'll be taking it in for an oil change and have them look at a possible oil leak and was wondering if I should perhaps wait until that's all taken care of?

 

Dealer will flash the car if there is a recall or software update on it.

You can always request that they tell you in advance before they do it and you can always decline it.

If they still do it, and you have our tune, we will reflash it again, no problem.
