Normal Double Kickdown?
Normal Double Kickdown?
Hello,
I was wondering if it was normal for my 04 E55 to feel like it kicks down twice when I floor it...not one solid kick down. It doesn't kick down like this car even after I do my ecu reset..:

Your "anti spin-out" came on twice to prevent your death...see the yellow triangle in the vid? that sometimes seems like a kickdown..
I can never seem to get the downshift to be that solid.
That car is going about 50ish mph? is it normal to be able to break traction just by flooring it at that speed with a stock e55?
Thanks

My tires are at about 80%, not bald at all. It's a front heavy rwd car w/over 500lb/ft of torque that is available almost instantaneously. Pretty normal to me, any of my former turbo cars did the same thing w/less power.

but I don't own an E55 so i can't confirm
