Zmax - snake oil or good technology? What of Techron?
I found more than four threads about Zmax. The claims seem interesting - but if a product were worthwhile, F1 (and lesser series) would use it. Racing oils are special - Shell sometimes mixes a special cocktail for a specific race, and I doubt the Silver Arrows use the same Mobil-1 we can buy down at Advance.

Carrol Shelby uses it in every car. That being said, I have a gear head buddy with a autographed Shelby car. He loves Carrol Shelby, He also thinks Zmax is snake oil.
The only drop in engine additive i seen work is Seafoam.
Seafoam reminds me of Stoli Vodka... Bland looking bottle, but good stuff inside.
