04 e55 with 36k miles. asking 31k. Good deal?
I'm looking at an 04 e55 with 36k milies.
Asking price is 31k, but I'm going to bid around 28.
I know many have told me the CLS suspension doesn't
come in until the 05 model.
Is it quite significant? The handling performance from the 04
to the 05?
Would appreciate your input.

Airmatic in 04 is sweet. Does everything I want.
With the market today, high 20s is a nice deal. I paid 38k 6 months ago for my '04 with 30k. And that was way under book value at the time.

Is is true that the 04 version supercharger is louder than the 05?
So the 04 suspension is airmatic and is fine? Or does the 05 version's
CLS suspension clearly outperform it?
Does it really matter on the street?

I would look at another 04 or offer lower. It doesn't have keyless-go, or heated/vented seats, or drive dynamic seats... Or does it? I picked up a 04 with 40k miles in June of 08 with all these options minus the Panoramic roof, for $35k.
The handling in this car will never be outstanding, so I think the difference between the "newer" CLS suspension and the "older" suspension is minimal at best.
