Would you rather learn from an experienced race car driver or someone that's never changed their own oil?

What you are forgetting is that there many qualified trainers. Clearly, I want one qualified and acytually try to attend at least one course per year. I know how much it helps. But, I would NEVER take lessons from a *****, even if he were the best. The choices are not taking *****s that know their stuff vs nice guys that are stupid. Find that happy medium, Andy.

How do you think he got into the 10s so quick? NOS. That is why I want to clarify.

I'm easy, I go for the knowledge everytime. If a nice person told you to jump off a bridge, would you?

Who Jim?

He hasn't gone 10s yet.

He went 11.1@127 on a 70 shot getting out of the throttle (video verified) at the 1000ft mark with the wrong gas and ECU--got out of the groove.

He's going 10s in the next 3 weeks.

Again, assuming they are both qualified, I'd jump if the nice guy said it before I would if a ***** said it. You need to separate the two. there is no need to be a ***** to be knowledgable. pompousness just means you THINK you know more than you do and that can be dangerous. BTW, I have changed instructors MANY times based purely on the first 5 minutes with them.

NO!!! I am sorryt. i was talking about another tuner a while back that acted like you...Not saying you are doing the same, but it makes us paranoid so we need to verify.

The honest truth of the matter is threads like these benefit everyone...Here's why :

1) The members win and are entertained by watching a keyboard warrior/ethug get called out.

2) Th site gets more hits because of the "drama", additional hits translate into more views for sponsors, allowing the site owner(s) the ability to charge more $ for advertising.

3) **** is therapeutic to me, my facial muscles are practically paralyzed from smiling and laughing so much.

Where is the fix for the codes on removing trhe secondary cayts? You think I am the only one watching you? Man up or leave on your own.
You need to work on your meds. That x-pipe works just fine, you just don't understand how to use it. That doesn't surprise me though, you're an enthusiast , but you've never built a car or competed in a sanctioned event. I'm really hating that I won't be in town for Famoso or Willow, It's killing me to know that I'm going to miss a chance to see the great jangy run

That's your take on the definition of "pompousness" and you're digressing.

As far as who is more likely to have valuable and pertinent info can you disprove: Race Car Driver > Never Turned a Wrench ?

Quote: I'm not going anywhere so never fear. Jim and Andy, all I can say is WOW!! Kharma is a mean lady.

I'm disgusted by internet brands and the moderators on this board, but it won't stop my endless love of cars and hanging out with others like myself. I will also NEVER stop trying to find better and cheaper ways to mod our cars. That is the passion and I will always help the members in any way I can. Thank god for mymb, since I am sure many of us will be moving ASAP. We'll still be posting just as much here, but it will clearly be all talk and no tech.

Yes, I am missing my tooth. I was young and stupid and begged the dentist to pull it because I was in pain.

Sean, you are beyond pitiful.
Jangy, let me tell you something about kharma, ther's no such thing, kharma is as real as the tooth fairy, people make their own luck by following their own path. You might suffer some set backs along that path, kind of like the set backs you are seeing in this thread. If you keep pushing peoples buttons they are eventually going to fire back, now once again you are up against the ropes and crying foul, blaiming mods and internet brands just as I predicted you would in my post from 12 hours ago...how's that for kharma?

....speaking of the tooth fairy, you claim you had your tooth pulled when you were young???? Where I live we have these people called dentists and oral surgeons, they have these things called crowns, you make an appointment at said dentist he pops in said crown, you are in and out in about an hour and it should cost you under $2000
