Question about selling the e55

Hey Guys;
Been awhile since I posted, but wanted to get some opinions to see if an idea of mine that I've been toying with is actually worth it. I have a 2006 amg e55 that's black with the birdeye dark wood trim . The car has 17k miles on it and is loaded with all options except pano roof and disctronic cruise control. Car has always been professionally detailed and is flawless for the most part minus a couple rock chips from regular driving. No engine mods whatsoever and has cosmetic mods of flat amg emblem, foldable euro mirrors, BBS LM 19" wheels, carlsson lip, euro strips for the side blinkers, and euro navi/dvd player. Completely clear, paid for in cash when new, and accident free. Would such a car fetch mid to upper 40k in today's market? With the new baby I've had much less time to enjoy the car and it'd be a good idea to let someone else actually enjoy the car imo. Some pics are here:

I guess if the car is not worth selling, then I'd probably keep and keep saving up for the porsche turbo or gtr a couple years down the road.

Thanks for the kind comments fellas. It's just an idea I'm toying with since I personally drive the Odyssey more than anything these days (with the new baby). Money isn't tight or anything and I just felt that if I could move the car at 45k-50k, it'd be worth doing while the car is still fresh and new so another enthusiast can enjoy the car. Once again, I thank all of you for your kind words and support throughout the times I've been here on this forum.

Car is to nice bro keep it! you would have a hard time gettin 45K and probably just as hard of a time gettin 40K. When the new E hits these things are gonna be worthless.

Don't forget Scholar,they aren't making any more supercharged E 55's..A low mileage,one owner and documented cars will always be worth considerably more to the right buyer...

I just sent a deposit on an Iridium Silver/Charcoal E55 for $42,000...The car is identical to yours with similar miles and options ( 19,000 miles and all the options minus the Pano and the Distronic ) The only difference being,this car is Silver and has a CPO warranty ( good until 04/11 )
I have been following E55 market for a while now with an intent to buy a low mileage E55 as soon as i find one...Most of the low mileage examples are at the mercedes dealers with asking prices in mid to high 40's...I wanted to buy one in low 40's but they won't budge on their prices...Most of those car at the dealers been there for over 2 months now..
The market for E55's continues to get softer but then again,finding a one owner,low mileage and documented cars are getting harder to find as well...I still think i should have paid 40 tops for my car but with my selection criteria,i was willing to pay a little bit more for the right car ..
In your case,i would say if you have patience and if you market the car right,you probably can get any where between 39-43 for your low mileage pristine car...
Hope this helps

Thanks for the feedback guys, looks like the smart choice (when have I ever made the smart choice when it comes to cars) is to keep it and have some fun. Once again appreciate the feedback.
