Alignment question on 2003 E55
I was in an accident in December and am currently getting it fixed. The right rear tire was damaged and the insurance company specified an alignment. The bodyshop will likely be the ones that check the alignment. Can the airmatic cars be aligned by anyone or is it dealer only? What suspension setting should it be set on during the alignment?
Thanks for your time,
Steve

I would have it done at the dealer as they have all the bolts that they will need and the setting guide lines. Given the nature of the car, the insurance company should have no issue paying.

That being said, any reputable alignment shop is qualified to do an alignment on this car. They shouldn't need to swap bolts if your car has already been fixed.
I would suggest setting the suspension to the height that you drive on most often.
