+1 400hp/413torque...need to get the butt dyno recalibrated. I estimate the 55 gets to 100 about 3 seconds ahead of the XJR, a major beating

Your butt dyno is close...The C+ D link below has a 2004 XJR getting to 60 in 4.7 seconds and to 100 mph in 12.2 seconds

The 2008 XJR has about 15 lbs tq and 10 more hp---not much but should make it a bit faster...

The 2006 E55 AMG makes it to 60 in 4.5 secs ( again, magazine time ) and to 100 mph in 10.2 seconds...so, e55 amg is about 2 secons quicker, may be a bit less to 100 mph...Having driven E55 for more than 3 years on daily basis, my butt dyno doesn't feel that difference to 100mph...

Cayenne Turbo
Another question:

Were there any problems with for example 2003 models, that were solved in later years? Is it worth paying more for a 2005-2006 model?
