Engine missfire
Hi getting faults read at mb dealer but would be keen to know what it could be . I was driving along on the motorway 100kph and engine dropped to approx 4 cylinders . I have just repaired it from a accident and has 4 fault codes to clear from drivers bag, seatbelts , abs and parktronic . It came up 1.5 ltrs low on oil on the side of the road but has been changed 500 ish kms ago correct amount. Checked compression back at workshop and is 160psi.When hooked up to a Bosch sis/cas machine it comes up with no engine faults but states this. Engine will not start or engine running problems Implausible fault entries or no fault entry may be result. Cause In the event of internal short circuit engine oil sensor causes joint supply voltage for several sensors todrop below specified range of 4.75...5.25 v . Is that the problem.
