Your worst nightmare...
Could you advise what is ideal stall speed for my 65? I will be getting vrp825 package soon.
Would figure anywhere above 2800 rpm is for the 55 gents...for the biturbo should be higher no??

Your V12 car will need just a bit less stall than the 55K cars, but very close.

That thing will be an ANIMAL !!!

Where does your car make max torque? Thats the info you should base your stall off of. Usually turbo cars have higher stalls than a s/c car because it takes time for the turbos to spool.

Once I get the vrp package and I am able to install and get an accurate dyno I will be able to determine where max torque is at. As of right now stall is around 17-1900 rpm...lol.

LET Motorsports is proud to announce the release of the final piece of the 55K performance puzzle - The >>>LET high-stall Torque Converter (HSTC)<<<

This modified factory unit is designed to put more of the power you already have to the ground, without sacrificing drivability at all. Some customers have reported better-than-stock drivability with the HSTC installed !!!

Stall Speed is increased several hundred RPM to a more performance-oriented level, which varies depending on your supporting mods. The low- and midrange are substantially improved, with no loss in top end - the HSTC retains all factory lockup characteristics, as well as an improved Stall-to-Torque Ratio (STR)

This unit will net you a 0.250-0.400 second reduction of your quarter-mile times, and possibly more. Thousands of development miles have been put on these modified units with no failures and no warranty issues, so you can remain confident in this mod for years to come. Use of a factory core means no flagging or refusal of warranty work.

The HSTC is an ideal first mod, as well as being a great final mod to complete your performance package. The HSTC is docile around town, yet enhances your car's acceleration unlike any other mod available, at any price.

Pricing is set at $1200.00, with an additional (refundable) core charge.

Promotional pricing, for the first run of units, will be offered at $999.99 !!!! (plus shipping)

Please add your name to the list below to guarantee your spot - this promotion ends February 28th !!!

Trust me, I really want this mod but don't want to fully sacrifice my throttle response at the lower RPM's. Do any of you guys that have this installed use a sprint booster? Would this help bring back that lost throttle response if there was loss? Thanks.
I got used to it the minute i drove the car......as for throttle response,it depen on how the car is driven.....with TC on it cut back rapidly to avoide wheel slippage, with TC off its out of control, even so than before.Overall its a great performance upgrade.

would it be a good idea to install this at the same time as installing an LSD?

LSD is in the diff, torque converter goes between the trans and engine. The only thing that makes it easier is that the car is already on the lift lol. I don't know if LET supplies a new torque converter or modifies your stock one though.

Is this reduction of 0.1x a guess or actual. Why the "x" in 1.5x as it makes me think this is just a guess. Looking for data. thanks.

I think transmissions are going to be the next mod for many. Cutting 1.5x's doesn't happen for long on a stock tranny - especially a 2003 w/o the trans cooler, either the tranny or the axels go. Thats a lot of stress. I hope I am wrong. This mod sounds freakin awesome though...I want one!

With your setup, low 1.5s are possible.

I hit high 1.5s, with plenty left on the table (extra weight, snow tires, etc.)
