VRP Service

Was having some work done on my car at VRP today.

Although I was about 30 minutes late to my appointment due to that dang 405 traffic Vadim personally greeted me as I pulled up and had an open bay ready for my car. Furthermore, he drove me about 10-15 minutes to a nice mall by the ocean for me to kill some time while my car was being worked on. He then picked me up right on time a couple hours later.

(only bummer is that it didn't help that there was a circuit city there and i ended up walking out with an LCD for my bedroom!) Vadim must've thought i was crazy when he came back to pick me up!

Vadim is one cool cat, his prices are VERY reasonable and products top-notch.
That, combined with his customer service, to me, is priceless and I know where I'll be going in the future.

I would highly recommend his shop to anyone that is thinking of having their car modded/worked on.

Thanks Vadim!

*and no, i have no personal or business affilation with VRP/Vadim*

How far is VRP from Long Beach and how long does the stg 1 take to install? My car is getting shipped from Hawaii to Long Beach next year and I would like to get it done on my way through to NYC if the service is that good. I'm looking for minimal delays on this trip.

Shorty headers. Must say that I have resonator delete and Meisterschaft mufflers, and I can still hear more of a nice, noticeable growl with the headers added.

I still need to send my ECU back to Kleemann to get flashed since I've had this work done (including pulley), so I can't say I've noticed any big power gains...yet!

I don't live in those parts, but I'd say about 30 minutes drive. Hell, I drove 1 1/2 hours from the Valley and it was well worth it with that kind of service.

No idea about labor for stg 1, but I'm sure Vadim will answer you shortly.

yes Vic, I imagine Vadim is pretty good with anything he touches. Nice M6 BTW! Beautiful! I used to have an E39 M5 before going to an '04 CL55 so I have a great appreciation for Beemers/M cars. Always regretted selling that car....just couldn't deal with a stick car with my commute.

Larger heat exchanger and pump as far as i know, but Vadim can answer you better than I.

Yeah, let me work on that sound clip for you.
I'm not very tech savvy so give me a bit of time...

I wanted the renntech mufflers, cause I wanted a deep growl, but they were out of stock with no ETA so i went with the Meisterschafts.

I have to say that they were MUCH cheaper and sound GREAT. Also have a nice deep growl. The tips look pretty sweet as well, at least IMO...

Nice. How can i find your clips on Youtube? Can you tell me what to search? I'd love to hear/see them.

Yeah, I've noticed that with the headers (even though mine are shorty/unequal length vs. I imagine yours are long-tube/equal length) they add a nice sound when you really step on it!

Have you thought about the renntech mufflers, or do they still not have them in stock for CLS's?

i hear that all the time!
i wish i lived closer to his shop.
vadim, if u see this thread please give us more info on your cooling setup.

i didnt notice too much difference in sound with the renntech shorties but after the kleeman k2 kit there was a big difference due to the cat removal.

here are the youtube clips. keep in mind that these clips are with renntech headers and resonator delete. i still have to make new ones with the k2 setup.

Doesn’t surprise me one bit.

I’ve had nothing but great experiences with Vadim.

Victor’s OK, too (even though he’s Canadian)!

Thank you gentlemen for kudos!

I am revising the cooling package and will post details next week.

We are in Costa Mesa, about 15 miles South of Long Beach.
