Be careful... with high compression and the F/I system you added, your results raising the rpms might be different than the 55K cars. You might want to pose your question directly to Kleemann - see what tech. specs they have in their archives...?

Shifting costs time in the 1/4, AFAIK
blackbenzz is right on the money, if he can avoid a shift a few yards before the line, it should cut down the ET's. Just wouldn't want to blow the motor over-revving it (at least, *I* wouldn't), since it's high compression + a Kleemann blower (i.e. quite a bit different from the 55K engines).

I think 6800 should be more than safe, its not like its a pushrod 8 liter, lol. But really, I think considering the way they are built, and what Finny said about the valvetrain in his thread, I think it should be fine.

I have a 6400 Rpm rev limiter, but thats in my N/A setup now. With the Kleemann charger I'm going to install on it I don't know
Have to ask Kleemann how high I can take it and still be safe!
blackbenzz >> Is your W208 a 11:1 or a 10,5:1 like my engine ??

Itis 10.5:1 I think 6400rpm will be conservatove and may be enough to get me through the traps. Lemme do the calculations

It's actually 11:3.1 so I was very close, but it's pretty comical that you keep going back to that
